When Jim started this company in 1996, he made it his personal challenge to offer his customers the best customer service and quality equipment to be found, engineer each job with precision, and to supply installations and service with highly-trained personnel. Jim started Optimum Air in 1996 and his main focus is in providing quality service and equipment that he can stand behind. Jim is a ticketed Refrigeration Mechanic and holds CanSIA, Quality First and NATE certification.

Kathy has been in the Customer Service Industry since for over 20 years. She is highly skilled, detailed oriented and very personable, and is ready to oversee your installation and provide Quality Assurance from start to finish.

Diana is our Customer Service Representative and Stores Attendant. She has happily been helping people since 1999. She always answers the phone with a smile.
Geoff Shimmin

Geoff has a wealth of knowledge regarding the benefits and advantages of solar hot water,whether it be DHW (Domestic Hot Water), commercial application, or swimming pool. He is Cansia Certified and can help with grant applications.
Don Barnett
Sales
Don has an extensive background and career in heating and cooling, both residential and commercial. He holds a Journeyman Sheet Metal trade ticket and a B Gasfitters ticket. His experience will ensure the right solution for any application.
Kyle Nelson
Service Technician
Kyle is a C Gas-fitter and Refrigeration Apprentice, and comes to Optimum Air from an automotive background. He learns quickly, making him a great diagnostician, is hard working and a dedicated employee.
Jared Smith

Jared started in the industry in 2004, and is a B Gas-fitter and Refrigeration Mechanic Apprentice. Jared embraces any opportunity for more
training and intends to continue in the industry.
Russ Bradbury
Installation Technician and Residential New Construction
Russ has a long history with Optimum Air. He holds a B Gas-fitter’s ticket, a Certified Quality First Duct Installer’s certificate and he’s CFC certified for Refrigerant Handling. Russ places integrity at the top of his list.
